While catching up on some blog reading, I came accross this post on how to make
Cherry plum cordial and I realised that we have these cherry plums growing on trees around our local library so we had a morning of collecting the plums, then an afternoon of making cordial, the smell of the plums cooking down was soooo good!
It made nearly enough cordial to fill a large jar
A couple of spoonfuls in the bottom of a glass, topped up with water, perfect for a summery day, or a bright blustery one, as we seem to be having at the moment
I was eyeing up the same post last night - I love the colour!
ReplyDeletewow, it looks great, lovely colour. we made our jam with these cherry plums this year too :)
ReplyDeleteI bet the jam is lovely too! may have to try that next :-)
